Six Flags Take Two

We made a date to go to Six Flags with Juliet's pal, Riley. They went on rides, watched their dads play some carnival games, watched a tiger show, and ate some junk food. Good times! There was a lot of hugging in the parking lot when it was time to say good-bye.

Lunch with Daddy at Connecticut Yankee

Juliet has a buddy at The Connecticut Yankee (home to some of the best burgers in town) who always gives her baseball cards and toys to play with. These glasses were the latest.

Grapefruit and Grapes

Juliet learned today that grapefruit and grapes are very different fruits. Nana was feeding her lunch which included grapefruit and grapes (crazy kid LOVES grapefruit). It was a particularly juicy grapefruit, so my mom squeezed the juice into the glass for Juliet to drink. Then Juliet started squeezing the grapes, trying to get their juice into the glass. Juicing the grape was a perfectly logical thing for her to try after seeing the grapefruit juiced, but it didn't quite work. We have to explain to her that grape juice needs to be left up to the professionals...
