Adeline's first trip to the Snow

Elliott made snow angels

SLEDDING! I think I was more excited about the sledding than Juliet. Maybe next year she will be more in to it.

We went out for Mexican food on our last night and by the time we got back out to the car, it was covered with snow. It snowed all night on our last night there and we were so sad to not be on the slopes the following day.

BFF's

The other day I suggested going to Chloe's Cafe for breakfast. When Juliet heard me say "Chloe", she said "Chloe is my best friend". I asked her who else was her best friend and she said "Stella!". Here are the girls after a fun playdate at Rossi, our favorite playground.

Date with Grandpa

Yes, that's three scoops! And yes, he ate the whole thing (the guy even gave him a little extra when he ordered the triple because my dad promised he could finish it).

We made a little Noe Valley loop with Grandpa while Mike played golf. We had lunch at Eric's, then went to Upper Noe Playground, then hit Mitchell's before heading home.

Adeline is a Crawler!

At Juliet's gymnastics class today, Adeline worked on her own stunt: crawling! I was bummed that I didn't have a camera on me, but I got this footage tonight before bed. Juliet clearly doesn't understand that the still camera also takes video (hence trying to pin her sister down and saying "cheese" over and over again).

New Year's Day 2009

Here is my Mom and Juliet on the swings at Boothbay Park in Foster City. Apparently, Nana's New Year's Resolution is to have more fun!

Adeline sat up unassisted for the first time on Christmas Eve. Here she is showing off how she has mastered the new skill.

Yep, more food. Crab and artichokes, yum!

New Year's Eve Excitement

This is Juliet's first drawing of a face. I think she said it was a kitty cat. This is her drawing mat that Francheska and Gaby gave her for her birthday. It uses a pen with water in it and she loves it (so does Uncle Bob!). I had to be fast to find the camera and take a photo before the water dried and the picture disappeared. We are proud of our budding Picasso.
