Painting Pottery



Abby and I took our girls to Terra Mia, the paint-your-own-pottery place on Castro at 24th. I had a hard time explaining to Juliet that she needed to pick a plain white piece of pottery. She kept choosing the sample pieces that were painted and fired; all bright and shiney. I could hardly blame her, but in the end she agreed to do the same square plate that Anabel chose (Anabel is a veteran). Adeline slept through all of the fun...

This is Juliet freaking out because her hands got paint on them (this is a regular occurence these days, mostly at mealtime when she has food on her hands and demands that they get cleaned immediately).
