Sunday was Father's Day, so we let Daddy sleep in. On the way to the bagel shop, Michael tried on some sunglasses, so we surprised him with them later. Happy Father's Day! In the afternoon we went to my Dad's house and went for a boat ride (where Michael got yet another Father's Day gift, in a Nordstrom box at that - lucky guy). Juliet's Aunt Aleesa gave her an early birthday present - her first pair of shades! Both Daddy and Juliet got new shades on Sunday. J wore her sunglasses for quite some time before she decided she would rather play with them. Her Thursday visits with Grandpa are paying off. It definitely shows that she remembers him now when she sees him (and I think she remembers too that he likes to play).

Michael's First Father's Day
