After returning Michael's pirate costume to
Costumes on Haight this morning, we went to lunch at Chow. Juliet was hamming it up, waving at everyone, and the staff was all over her. That girl LOVES attention! We went downtown to spend some of Juliet's birthday loot at H&M (thank you Aunt Kathy) and Macy's (thanks Uncle Steve!). Before we headed back to the car, we stopped at Haagen Dazs and what do you know, Juliet likes ice cream. We tried to figure out if she preferred cinammon dulce de leche or chocolate chip, but she showed an equal affinity for both. When she first started eating solids, I planned to be zealous about keeping her away from sugar, but every now and then I just have to give her a treat because it is so fun to see her go bananas over it.
After putting J to bed tonight, we watched my new favorite show,
Flight of the Conchords. It is by far the wackiest show I have seen on TV and it just cracks me up. Michael and I are probably not the demographic that is being targeted (i.e. stoners), but for some reason we think the show is hysterically funny.
