We had a playdate at the zoo on Friday morning. I finally got to see Grizzly Gulch, the new grizzly exhibit. I have mixed feelings about zoos, but this particular exhibit is impressive. I never thought I would see a bear so close-up (or hoped I wouldn't, I guess). It was a unique experience. While we were watching, one of the zookeepers fed apples to the bear, so he was bobbing around in the big pool and splashing about trying to catch them. Kinda cute.
After the grizzlies, we took a 
ride on the Little Puffer, where we watched a kamikaze peacock chase the train. Little Puffer is also kinda cute, but it's got nothing on the Tilden Park train. On the drive home I tried everything I could think of to keep Juliet awake so that she would nap in her crib at home, but to no avail. She was zonked out, even with lil Chloe doing her best to help me out and keep her awake. She slept through the transfer and had a nice, long nap in her bed. Phew.
