Juliet's actual birthday is July 2nd. We went to her Aunt Aleesa's house to say hello to Andy, then we were off to breakfast at the Lighthouse Cafe in Sausalito. J slept through breakfast until she sensed that the french toast had arrived, then she decided to wake up and join us. We went for a walk at Blackies in Tiburon. It was a gorgeous day and we took a long walk alongside the water, then around a neighborhood where it seemed that every third house was under construction. Juliet wore her new SF Giants hat from the Diangson's. It is so cute I can hardly stand it. Daddy LOVES the hat. He now seems to judge her outfits based on whether or not they look good with the hat.
From Tiburon, we headed to West Portal to meet some new friends at a playdate. There were lots of babies and most of them were small enough for J to steal toys from. She behaved herself, though, and was rewarded with a special birthday cupcake courtesy of Riley's mom, Nikki (thank you!). Grammy Linda came over and took us to Eric's to further celebrate the big day. There she was presented with a plate full of fortune cookies with a lit candle in the middle. We had a very fun day, one that wouldn't have been possible if I was working!
