Gung

This morning I gave J a spoon with her oatmeal. She initially attempted to use the spoon for its intended purpose, but then decided it was okay to just use it as a prop. Rather than eat off of the spoon, she is taking a fistful of oatmeal, touching it to the bowl of the spoon, then eating the oatmeal off of her hand. Very silly.

Everything with Juliet these days is "Bah!". She points at EVerything and says "Uh! Uh!" (so fun for Mom and Dad). I didn't realize how quickly I was forgetting things until a friend reminded me that two weeks ago everything was "gung". Apparently we have moved from G's to B's. It is always something new!

We were hoping that at her 12-month appointment yesterday, she would weigh in at 20 pounds so that we could turn her carseat around to face forward. The shrimp is only 18 lb, 14 oz, which is the 25th percentile, so no new perspective for her. Oh well, maybe at 15 months.
